　　上海世博会主题福利彩票将于7月1日起开始在世博园内销售。彩票售价从5元至20元不等。

　　文中的Expo-themed welfare lottery就是指“世博主题福利彩票”，welfare lottery也就是大家常说的“福利彩票”，而theme在这里就表示“主题”，例如theme park（主题公园）、theme song（主题曲）、theme party（主题派对）等等。

　　除了welfare lottery之外，我们常见的彩票还有sports lottery（体育彩票），比如世界杯期间，大家对football lottery（足彩）一定很感兴趣。而theme lottery（主题彩票）则是以某活动、影视作品等为主体的系列福彩。

　　彩票“摇奖”常用draw来表示。从彩票的开奖方式来看，可以分为instant lottery（即开型彩票，即开即兑）、以及等待摇号的passive lottery。
